Hector Fellow Prof. Martin Wegener's research focuses on laser-based 3D printing at the micrometer and nanometer scale. The newly published video is intended to give an insight into this exciting research field.
In his research group, Martin Wegener is working on applying laser-based 3D manufacturing at the micrometer and nanometer scale while continuing to expand it. However, 3D printing does not only offer important and exciting fields of application and research opportunities for science. This technology also plays an essential role for society, especially considering possible applications in the future.
