Bio
Matthias May currently works as an Emmy Noether Young Investigator Group Leader at the University of Tubingen. His research interests mainly lie in the field of Solid State Physics with a focus on solid-liquid interfaces for (photo)electrochemical energy conversion. To study fundamental aspects, but also application cases, he uses experimental electron- and photon-based surface science tools as well as modelling by means of density functional theory.
