Bio
Michael J. D’Agati (Member, IEEE) received the Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical engineering from Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY, USA, in 2018, and the Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, USA, in 2020, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering under the guidance of Dr. Troy Olsson.
His research interests include MEMS sensors, wireless bio-implantable and wearable devices, energy harvesting/wireless power transfer, and Internet of Things.
Mr. D’Agati was awarded the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Award for his current research on multiferroic sensors and wireless power transfer systems in 2020. In 2016, he won the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship for his work on all-carbon, nontoxic supercapacitor electrodes, utilizing carbon nanotubes and graphene for implantable energy storage applications.
