Michael Rainey

I am a senior post-doctoral researcher and honorary research lecturer in the school of natural sciences, based at the Biomedical Sciences facility in the National University of Ireland Galway. I have extensive expertise in the field of cancer research with a primary interest in the study of mechanisms involved with regulation of the cell cycle, DNA replication and pathways that respond to DNA damage and replication stress. These research interests have developed over my research career which has been conducted in high caliber international research institutions throughout the world.
