Michael K Nguyen

A first-generation, low-income, non-traditional medical student with a dream of becoming a physician-scientist to promote health equity through patient-centered care, research, and medical education. Aspiring to be the role model that I never had growing up, I strive to teach, mentor, and inspire students from underrepresented communities and those with a passion for serving them. Most of my research projects aim to improve the imaging of musculoskeletal diseases in pediatric populations.
