My main research interests include psychiatric epidemiology and mental health interventions. I am further interested in evidence-based medicine, systematic method and research biases, and conflicts of interest in psychological and biomedical research. I was expert evaluator and consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Research Council (ERC), and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
