个人简介
Michel Krakowski graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité, Orsay, France and from the University of Paris VI, Paris, France, in 1980 (DEA in Materials Science). He has been a Research Engineer with Thomson CSF Central Research Laboratory, Orsay, then Thales Research and Technology, and now with III-V Lab, Palaiseau, since its creation in July 2004. He has been working in the design, characterization, and reliability study of semiconductor devices, in particular semiconductor lasers, amplifiers and super luminescent diodes for various applications (pump lasers, telecoms, microwaves, spectroscopy, atomic clocks and cold atoms sensors, medical). He has been a coordinator of European Integrated Projects on high power laser diodes. At III-V Lab, he is responsible of the “Pump Lasers” program in the “Optronics Devices” Research Group. His current research activities are focused on laser diodes for atomic clocks, ultrafast mode-locked high energy laser sources, high power laser diodes for LIDAR applications, super-radiant sources, and monolithic integration of a pump laser with an optical parametric oscillator.
