My research resides at the intersection of organic chemistry and photophysics, with a focus on designing new dyes and photoactive materials with tailored optical properties. Central to my work are porphyrins, dipyrrins, BODIPYs, and related pyrrolic dyes. I am particularly dedicated to exploring the practical applications of these systems in areas such as phototherapy, light energy conversion and photocatalysis.
