At Axion Biosystems, my team identifies, develops, and implements advanced in vitro assays to quantify the function of cells and networks. Our goal is to establish and refine assays that are scientifically rigorous, yet also accessible and scale-able. By modeling complex human systems in vitro, such as a seizure, arrhythmia, or cancer in a dish, we help content experts answer questions in drug discovery, safety pharmacology, toxicology, genetics, or disease.
