Min-Woo Kwon

Min-Woo Kwon (Student Member, IEEE) was born in Inchon, South Korea, in 1987. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Seoul National University (SNU), in 2012 and 2019, respectively. From 2019 to 2021, he worked at Samsung semiconductor Laboratories, where he contributed to the development of 1x nm DRAM cell transistor and its characterization. In 2021, he joined the Department of Electric Engineering, Gangneung-Wonju National University (GWNU), as an Assistant Professor, where he is currently a Professor. His current research interests include the design and fabrication of neuromorphic device (memristor synaptic device, neuron circuit), steep switching device (FBFET), and DRAM cell transistors. Dr. Kwon has served as an IEIE member. He received the “Best Paper” Award from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, SNU, in 2019.
