Deepak R. Mishra received the M.Tech. degree in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. His Ph.D dissertation is on remote sensing of coral reefs at Roatan Island, Honduras. His research focuses on using space- and airborne remote sensing for coastal applications. He has also performed research on the ecological applications of remote sensing techniques.
