Primarily interested in understanding the signaling pathways regulating cell fate in health and disease. This has largely focused on phosphatases, initially in the control of platelet production and function during my PhD, and has since expanded to their role in cancer. In particular I am currently exploring emergent dependencies of cancer cells, which may allow for the development of targeted therapies that will not alter normal cell survival.
