Dr. Elshami earned his MD degree from the Islamic University of Gaza, Palestine. He finished a master's degree in Clinical Investigation at Harvard Medical School and was awarded the Gordon Williams Gold Medal Award for Academic Excellence. Dr. Elshami is also a recipient of the Selma Morris Memorial Award from the American Association for Cancer Education. He is currently working as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow in the Division of Surgical Oncology at University Hospitals, Cleveland, OH.
