Mohammad Honarvar

Mohammad Honarvar received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada, in 2015. From 2015 to 2018, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Urology Sciences and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of British Columbia. His research was focused on ultrasound and MR elastography techniques, specifically elasticity inverse problems. In 2018, he joined Sonic Incytes, Vancouver, where he is currently a Hardware Lead Engineer. Dr. Honarvar was a recipient of the UBC Four Year Doctoral Fellowship and the Mechanical Engineering Graduate Entrance Scholarship.
