My research focusses on improving the management of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly related to physical activity and behavioural change interventions. I am also interested in how we can expedite the implementation of research findings into practice to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients in the shortest time. My work is funded by NIHR, Versus Arthritis and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. I've previously held a five year Career development Fellowship from Arthritis Research UK. I currently lead a large NIHR funded study investigating First Contact Physiotherapy for Musculoskeletal Disorders in Primary Care
