Navita Somaiah

Navita Somaiah received the D.Phil. degree in radiation and cancer biology from the University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K., in 2013. She is currently a Clinical Oncology Consultant specializing in breast and radiotherapy at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London, U.K. She is also a Clinician Scientist at The Institute of Cancer Research, London, where she leads the Translational Breast Radiobiology Team, Division of Radiotherapy and Imaging. Her research interests focus on the response of tumors and normal tissue to different radiotherapy regimes, understanding the late effects from radiotherapy, and combining novel drugs and radiation.
