Bio
Natsupa Taengnoi received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in electrical engineering from Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2015, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Optoelectronics with the Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, Southampton, U.K., in 2017 and 2022, respectively. Dr. Natsupa was the recipient of the Team ’96 award for the best performing final year ORC PhD students. Dr. Natsupa has been holding the position of Research Fellow with the University of Southampton since 2022 (on leave from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Kasetsart University), working on coherent fibre-optic WDM communications in unconventional transmission bands, including the O- and U- bands. Dr. Natsupa's research interests include ultra-wideband fibre-optic telecommunications, novel amplification technologies for high-speed telecommunications, optical sensing, optical test and measurement, and digital/optical signal processing.
