Naveen Puppala

Naveen Puppala received the M.S. degree from Tamilnadu Agricultural University, India, in 1990, and the Ph.D. degree from New Mexico State University, USA, in 2003. He is currently an Associate Professor with New Mexico State University. His current research focuses on peanut breeding with an emphasis on variety development for high yield, high oleic trait, and disease resistance using molecular techniques and conventional breeding approaches.
