Areas of Research/Scholarship Focus Cytochrome P450 superfamily evolution and nomenclature. I have named more than 106,000 P450 sequences over more than 30 years. ADP/ATP carrier in mitochondria. Professional Interests My goal is to find all the cytochrome P450 families on earth and name them in a systematic way based on their evolution. Currently this is accomplished for vertebrates and land plants. Much progress has been made in green algae and bacteria.
