Lan Chau Nguyen

Dr. Lan is an Associate Professor in the Geotechnical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, University of Transport. He has experience in assessing and analyzing landslides and debris flow issues. PI has participated in many projects at all levels on landslides and debris flow. Participating in the Norwegian project, SRV-10/0026 Program Capacity Building and Technology Transfer for Mitigation of Geo-hazards in Vietnam in the Context of Climate Change, including a study on debris flow in Ha Giang province. Currently, the chair is also the secretary or key member of 3 Nafosted-funded landslide research projects, including the topic “Research on landslide hazard mapping and Destruction of excavated slopes serving the proposal of reinforcement solutions along Ha Long Van Don expressway.
