Nicholas D. Yeager

Hi! I'm Nick Yeager, currently a second-year medical student at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Bloomington. Additionally, I am a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force Reserve on a Health Professions Scholarship. In May 2021 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedicine from Purdue University. While at Purdue I worked as a Particle Accelerator Operator for the Purdue Rare Isotope Measurement (PRIME) Laboratories and conducted research in coral reef microbiomes and coral bleaching. I have held previous positions as a Medical Assistant, tutor for Chemistry and Biology, and as a Culver's Dessert Specialist. I was on the Purdue Student Union Board and served as the Executive Project Leader for Programming for 2019. Additionally, I was the 2020 President of the Purdue Scuba Club and pledged the Purdue Reamer Club in Spring 2021. At IUSM, I have been involved with the Military Medicine Student Interest Group and have volunteered with the American Diabetes Association at Camp John Warvel in North Webster, IN.
