Nicolas Negre

Professor at Univ Montpellier , I teach genetics, epigenetics and genomics. After years of epigenomics work on Drosophila, I joined the DGIMI lab in Montpellier in 2011 to study the genetic and epigenetic contributions to adaptation in non-model organisms such as the agricultural pests of the Spodoptera genus. I apply transcriptomic resources and analyses to understand host-plant diet preferences and response to pathogens of lepidoptera caterpillars.
