Physical oceanographer working at the University of Aveiro (CESAM). Main professional interest is the study of estuary-coastal continuum, using numerical models (hydrodynamic + transport + biogeochemical) and satellite data in order to investigate stratification and mixing in estuaries and propagation of estuarine plumes, e.g. the main question is "how fresh and salt water interacts??".
