P. Allan Klock received the B.S.degree in biomedical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, in 1986 and the M.D. degree from the University of Connecticut, Farmington, in 1990. He is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. He is also an Associate Professor and Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care, University of Chicago, Chicago, IL. He specializes in anesthesia for urologic surgery and difficult airway management. His research interests include difficult airway management, patient outcomes, and administrative and economic issues.
