Paula Carneiro is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minho, in Ergonomics and Human Factors area. At the same University she is a researcher at the ALGORITMI Research Center in the “Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM)” research line, group of “Ergonomics and Human Factors”. She has authored more than 60 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, and proceedings of international conferences. She was the supervisor of more than 20 (concluded) MSc. thesis and of 3 concluded PhD thesis. Currently, she supervises 1 ongoing PhD project. She is member of the Organizing Committee of the International Symposium on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (SHO) since 2008. Since May 2015, she is the director of the Master on Human Engineering. Paula Carneiro has been/is coordinator/member of international and national externally funded research projects in the domains of Ergonomics, Occupational Safety and Hygiene.
