Our research is primarily clinical outcome based following arthroscopic hip surgery utilising prospective data collected as part of a large institutional database. Our main interests include the pathogenesis, diagnosis and surgical management of femoro-acetabular impingement (FAI) and labral pathology and other hip preserving techniques. 85% of our patients are competitive athletes. Our research includes measuring the effects of FAI and improvements from surgery on sports performance.
