Pierre Dejax

After graduating from the Ecole Centrale of Paris in engineering Pierre DEJAX obtained a Ph.D. from Cornell University in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. He has always been working in the area of supply chains and transport systems planning and optimization, initially within French consulting firms, working on a variety of industrial projects. He then joined the faculty of the Ecole Centrale Paris and has since been appointed as a Professor of the Mines Nantes Graduate School of Engineering where he teaches while conducting research within the school's IRCCyN Joint Research Institute and working on international and industrial applications and projects. As a researcher, expert or consultant, he has conducted or evaluated many innovative projects in logistics and transport in various areas. He has been actively involved with several french or international scientific and professional organizations and received several awards. Among other responsibilities, he is currently president of the scientific council of the French competitivity cluster PASCA -Atlantics supply chain and purchasing cluster-.
