My main research interests are in Robust Statistics and in Compositional Data Analysis - both fields are very useful in practice. Below is some more information on my research activities.
My non-professional life is rather nonprofessional: As an amateur, I am conductor of a choir, although they would have deserved having a professional one. I like running, and some time ago I also joined some competitions. I usually was on rank two, however, with respect to the female ranking. Well, and I love my family - and most of the time it is also the other way around.
