Phillipe Alan Wernette

My research focuses on monitoring and predicting coastal cliff and bluff evolution and characterizing coastal evolution and broader environmental change in context of coupled natural and human systems by leveraging machine learning to integrate geology, remote sensing, geophysics, and ecology. Expertise in geography/geomorphology/geology, ecology, geophysics, remote sensing (satellite, land-based, and underwater), and computer science places me at the nexus of complex real-world issues.
