My background is in ecology, biogeography and landscape scale conservation. I am interested in understanding how biological and anthropic factors affect biodiversity patterns. I hold a master’s degree in evolutionary ecology from Los Andes University, Colombia and a PhD from The University of Queensland, Australia. Through my research career, I have used ecological and biogeographic information to answer diverse research questions and conservation problems.
