Bio

Parameswaran Ramachandran (S'02–M'11) received the B.E. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2001, and the M. A. Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada, in 2005 and 2010, respectively. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Bioinformatics Research Group at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, Ottawa, ON, Canada. His research interests include bioinformatics, genomic and proteomic signal processing, digital filter design, optimization techniques, and image processing.
