Paulo A. C. Marques (S'97—M'04) received the B.S. degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL) in 1990 and the E.E., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in 1993, 1997, and 2004, respectively. He is a professor at ISEL, Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering. He is also a researcher with the Communication Theory and Pattern Recognition group at Institute of Telecommunications. His research interests are remote sensing, signal processing, image processing, and communications.
