Peter Toose received the B.E.S. and M.E.S. degrees in geography from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He is currently a Physical Scientist with the Climate Research Division, Science and Technology Branch, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Toronto, ON, USA. His research interests include using ground, airborne, and spaceborne passive and active microwave sensors in support of the development and validation of satellite-based capabilities to retrieve snow, soil, and ice parameters.
