Pierre Maurel

I have a background in agronomy & geography and a PhD in Information and Communication Sciences with an extensive experience in remote sensing, GIS and spatial data infrastructure. My current field of interest is to develop and to assess Spatial Information and Communication tools and methods for the integrated management of territorial and environmental projects based on participatory approaches. Since 2021, I'm director of the research unit "TETIS" in Montpellier (https://www.umr-tetis.fr/).
