P. Mokashi

Prachet Mokashi is a Program Manager in the Space Science and Engineering Division at Southwest Research Institute. He has a broad background in space science and operations with end-to-end experience in concept development, system engineering, process development, procedure writing, software development and modeling, activity planning, commanding, testing, anomaly response, telemetry processing and data archiving. Mr. Mokashi is the manager and operations lead of the Juno Science Operations Center (JSOC) and the project manager for the Lyman-Alpha Mapping Project (LAMP) instrument, an ultraviolet spectrograph on the Lunar Reconnaissance (LRO) mission. He was also the instrument operations lead for the Ion and Electron Sensor (IES) on Rosetta and the Cassini Plasma Spectrometer (CAPS) on Cassini. He has co-authored several science and operations related publications. Mr. Mokashi received a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Mumbai in 1998 and a Master of Engineering degree in Space Systems in 2003 from the University of Michigan.
