Bio
By multidisciplinary methods including epidemiology, clinical medicine, and genomic analysis, I am particularly interested in understanding how tuberculosis spread and evolve with drug resistance, with an ultimate goal of developing more effective approaches to control the disease. The main work include fieldwork at 5 sites across China, analysis of programmatic information and genomic data in Shanghai, Shenzhen and Tibet, to delineate TB transmission and drug resistance evolution.
