The first focus of my current research is to identify the cold-tolerance relative genes/proteins from cold tolerant banana, and understand their functions. The second focus is to understand the Fusarium oxysporum f. sp TR4 spores development biological processes, and develop new antifungal drugs for Foc TR4 by effective interference on its vital pathways. The ultimate goal is to find useful genes for genetic manipulation in banana.
