My research interests include taxonomy, ethnobotany and ecology of various ecological zones of the country. Currently, I am involved in investigating plant biodiversity of various areas of Pakistan particularly tropical forest with main emphasis on conservation. Another area of interest is bioactivity guided assessment of important medicinal plants of the country. Such kind of studies will give insight to the sustainable development of the ecosystems and cultural diversity that depends on it.
