R. Wietfeldt

Dr. Wietfeldt serves as CTO, Systems and Software, with Texas Instruments in the Wireless Terminals division, where he is responsible for driving the convergence of communications, computing and emerging technologies within TI's technology roadmap, including mobile digital TV and other wireless and connectivity technologies. To this position Dr. Wietfeldt brings 20 years professional experience, including previous posts as Manager and Systems Engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory developing advanced earth-space communications systems, Director of Technology and Product Engineering at Novatel Wireless, a provider of wireless multi-mode modem platforms, and CTO for Think Outside, a Silicon Valley startup.
