Bob has over thirty years of experience in the areas of signal processing, microwave and RF design, and ultra wideband (UWB) technology. For the past 17 years, he has been active in the design and development of UWB systems for communications, radar and geopositioning applications. Together with Dr. Gerry Ross of ANRO Engineering, Dr. Fontana developed the first, tactical range, UWB communications system.
