Roberto Corradini

Roberto Corradini received the Laurea degree (cum laude) in chemistry and the Ph.D. degree in chemical sciences from Parma University, Parma, Italy. Since 1995, he has been a Researcher with the Department of Organic and Industrial Chemistry, University of Parma; he became an Associate Professor in April 2000 with the same Department. He is currently with the Department of Chemistry, Life Sciences and Environmental Sustainability, University of Parma. His current research interests include development of synthetic systems able to perform molecular and chiral recognition, synthesis of modified peptide nucleic acids, and development of new drugs targeting DNA and diagnostic tools for DNA detection for biomedical and food diagnostics. Dr. Corradini was the recipient of the Research Award of the Organic Chemistry Division of the Italian Chemical Society in 2015.
