Current research interests are on the following topics: the risks of problematic Internet use, the impact of excessive and problematic use of technology on social and mental health, and psychological wellbeing, problematic smartphone use, online social networking and addiction, cyberbullying, the assessment of the psychometric instruments used in studies examining problematic Internet use, fear of missing out, immigrant acculturation, integration, and prejudice.
