Ruan Kruger is a Professor of Physiology at the North-West University with a strong research focus on hypertension and cardiovascular research in children and early adulthood. Holds Fellowship at the International Society of Hypertension (ISHF) and is the President of the Childhood Hypertension Consortium of South Africa (CHCSA). He held the DSI-NRF Research Chair (SARChI) in the Early Detection and Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in Africa.
