Rui Seabra

My main research interest is the study of how environmental factors influence biogegraphic patterns across multiple scales, especially under Climate Change. Focusing on intertidal ecosystems, I aim at describing environmental patterns (temperature, wave impact, desiccation) from the global to the microhabitat level, and understanding the mechanisms translating those patterns into stress. I take a multidisciplinary approach, combining environmental sensing, modelling, experimental ecology and physiology.
