Runze Zhang

Runze Zhang received the B.S. degree in chemistry and the B.A. degree in law (dual degree) from China Agricultural University, Beijing, China, in 2014, the M.S. degree in environmental engineering from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2018, and the Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, USA, in 2023. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA. His research interests encompass the application of microwave remote sensing data on land hydrology, land surface emission modeling, and the integration of uncrewed aerial vehicle sensor data to investigate surface responses to wildfires.
