I'm trained in both numerical climate modelling and clean-lab isotope geochemistry. These days, my day-to-day research is primarily in general circulation modelling, though I haven't totally given up on my geochemistry background. My research focuses on global-scale physical climate mechanisms, understanding atmosphere-ocean interactions, abrupt climate change, specific palaeo (ancient) climatic events & understanding how proxy records constrain all of this.
