I have a keen interest in Widening Participation, Research Informed Teaching and Innovation and Enterprise.
I have extensive experience working with mathematics and physics students, as well as students with a variety of learning disabilities, including dyslexia and dysgraphia.
I have been involved in outreach activities for over 20 years. For instance, I was co-investigator of the projects `Funmaths Roadshow and Liverpool Maths Club: Further Expansion and Developments' and `FunMaths Roadshow: UK wide roll-out' at Liverpool University (5 years of EPSRC funding in total) aimed at widening participation in mathematics.
