Sidi Imad Cherkaoui

I was born with a strong fascination for wildlife at a very young age and I have participated in some volunteering works. I did environmental stewardship and have participated at Conservation leadership Program me. I got my PhD in Ornithology/Landscape Ecology and MSc in Integrated Marine and coastal zones Management from the University Mohamed5 of Rabat in Morocco. I have authored several peer-reviewed scientific papers. Previously, I have worked for more than 8 years at BirdLife International as Country Director, 4 years at WWF Mediterranean Program as Freshwater officer and 4 years at SPANA. I'm actually Professor at the Ecole Superieure de Technologie of Khenifra (Moulay Ismail University). I'm also chairing the Ornithological Pan-African Congress - PAOC (2016-2020), member of Inte
