He is an expert on epitaxial growth, physics, and device oflow dimensional semiconductor heterostructures andnanostructures. He has edited one book and written 6 bookchapters and published over 400 refereed international papers.He holds four Chinese patents. He served as a CommitteeMember in several international conferences. He was the Chairof the the Seventh international Workshop on Bismuth-Containing Compounds in 2016.
