Syed Rehan Quadery

I am a UK trained respiratory physician with a special interest in pulmonary vascular medicine. I am currently working as a faculty (Staff physician) at the National Pulmonary Hypertension Unit, Mater University Hospital, Dublin for the past 17 months. I am one of the three experts in pulmonary Hypertension in Ireland. I am currently leading the 1st Irish National Pulmonary hypertension Audit 2021-2022. I have completed by research doctorate from the University Of Sheffield, UK. The topic of my doctoral thesis was etiological factors, predictors of mortality and long term outcomes in patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension. I have published in high impact factor peer review journals and presented at international conferences. My most notable publication is cited in the 2022 ESC/ERS PH guidelines and the 2023 ESC Clinical Consensus statement on BPA in CTEPH. My published work has been acknowledged as one of the ground breaking publications between 2017 and 2021 by the International CTEPH association.
